Biography

Dr. Anita Bratt is a licensed naturopathic doctor (ND) practicing in North Vancouver, B.C.  After completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from SFU in 1994, Dr. Bratt attended the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Oregon and Bastyr University in Washington, before completing her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine in 2005 at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in B.C. Dr. Bratt graduated first in her class and was honored with the award for academic excellence. 
 
Dr. Bratt is the mother of three children.  After her oldest son was diagnosed with autism, she developed a specific interest in the research and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders. She uses a biomedical and Defeat Autism Now! approach in treating ASD, along with naturopathic therapies . She has attended and been a speaker at numerous autism conferences including the Autism Vancouver Biennial Congress, Great Plains Laboratory Physician Training Seminar for Treatment of Autism/PDD & ADHD, and the Defeat Autism Now Clinician Seminar. Dr. Bratt is a published author of numerous autism-related articles, and has lectured to both naturopathic students and physicians on ASD and ADHD.  She is a member of the British Columbia Naturopathic Association and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and is board-certified in Chelation Therapy and Pharmaceutical Prescribing.
